He also added, "The cause of indigestion may be due to the child's suffering from organic problems in the pancreas, which leads to a lack of secretion of enzymes that help in the process of digestion, or infection with worms or anemia, as well as the presence of inflammation in the intestinal wall or an increase in the number of bacteria, which results in malabsorption."

Dr. Moamen Saad explained that a child’s infection can be detected through a number of symptoms, such as abdominal pain, excessive gas, belching, diarrhea, growth problems, whether in weight or height, as well as poor concentration and academic achievement.


The pediatrician indicated that the treatment begins with the correct diagnosis of the cause of indigestion in the child and then prescribing the appropriate treatment. on eliminating it.
