Hyundai Sonata: Introduction
Hyundai Sonata is the flagship mid-size sedan of South Korea's No. 1 car brand Hyundai. This car falls in the same segment of Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. This car is bigger in size and more royal looking than the 2012 Accord and Camry. Many people complain about the car of the present age, it is the body of the car and it is not as hard as the 100 Corolla era. But the Sonata car is ahead of many cars of the current decade in this direction, as the body of this car is made of ultra high-strength steel which is then heated to hot-stamping i.e. 10008 Celsius. The front has projection HID headlights, the rear LED taillights, and the wheels are 16 "in size which is nice to look at. When the Sonata's looking glass is folded, it looks like a Lamborghini door that looks quite unique.
Hyundai Sonata: Engine
The Sonata has a 2000 cc 4-cylinder engine with 183 horsepower and 198 Nm of torque. This power is delivered to the front two wheels via 8-speed auto gears, and these gears can be adjusted at will with the paddle shifter attached to the steering wheel to take control of the car. Many people think that Korean cars are not sustainable. But if you do a Google search to see which brands have been on the top chart of sustainable cars in the last 10-15 years, you will see that Hyundai / Genesis / Kia will be in the top five brands, even above some Japanese brands. Because, Hyundai's engineering and build quality is to compete with Japanese cars. Since this car does not come to our country as reconditioned, the first buyer of the car bought it from the dealership in brand new zero mileage. And those who buy such a brand new car, there is no doubt that they are fancy people, so needless to say, they do not use this car rough. They buy for commuting from home to the office and for school duties of the children, which is why there is never much pressure on the cars. Along with those who live among these Toyota-crazy Bangladeshis and buy a Korean car, they take great care of the car. That's why even after 6 years, these cars are found to be running only 40-50 thousand km and the condition is very fresh.
Hyundai Sonata: Interior
When it comes to the interior, at first glance, its base interior builds something in your brain that "No, the car is very luxurious". The key start and push start options were offered then, so if you search in the second hand market you will find the system of your choice. Since it is a mid-size sedan, there is no shortage of seating, everyone can sit very comfortably. There is no shortage of light and air due to the large windows and sunroof-moonroof. Again, in the heat of Dhaka, cars have to cool down quickly. Rear AC vents and ionizers like Toyota 'Nano-E' to prevent dust allergies. There is a JBL speaker in 4 doors and a subwoofer at the back for excellent music quality. At the very top of the instrumental panel is a small display with many buttons placed side by side. Below the buttons is a CD insert slot. Below this are all the control buttons on this display and the volume dial. Just below these buttons are all the control buttons of the AC. The center console has a gear lever, 2 cup holders and a large handset with a storage area underneath. The driver's side has a button-mounted steering wheel; Analog tachometer and speedometer, in between there is a display where the car shows a lot of info such as real-time fuel economy etc. The driver's seat is the power seat and can be stored in 2 position memory.
Now let's say the downsides of the car: -
1) The ground clearance of the car is less than half an inch less than the Accord and Camry, due to which there is a possibility of tying the floor in a big speed-breaker;
2) The car's fuel economy is similar to that of a 2000 cc engine developed in 2007, but much less than the 20 million cars available, such as the Axio or Primio-Eleon. The user from whom I have taken all the information of the review, he gets 6-7 km / liter mileage. But yes, I have seen many people abroad have done Sonata LPG in the sequential injection process. If you are also thinking of buying Sonata, but if you can't afford the oil cost of 6 km / liter mileage, then using LPG in the sequential injection process can reduce oil consumption by 1/3 and the engine will be better;
3) If you need car parts, you will get genuine parts at affordable price in Hyundai dealership, also you can easily manage parts in Bangla Motor. Since many people in Chittagong also buy these cars, so my idea is not to manage parts there. But if you buy the car for use somewhere other than these two cities, finding the parts will be a big hassle. For example, if you use the car in Khulna, you will not get the parts at all;
4) The Sonata was sold in Bangladesh from 2010-2013, that's Info screen system is very backdated so that there is no screen for watching videos and the phone cannot be connected via Bluetooth. A blue display just like a calculator's display where only the song name of the CD can be seen and the radio channel number can be seen. But yes, there is an auxiliary port to play the phone's song jack on the car speaker.
Hyundai Sonata: Extra
Extra a personal opinion I would like to give. That is, this car should be bought with 20 lakh rupees in hand at the time of purchase. Because, the price of fresh condition of 2012 model will be 18 lakh. After that you will make the car look like a new one with the one lakh that you have in your hand. That is, take the car to a Hyundai dealership or a reputed workshop in Dhaka and do a complete servicing of the car, then wash the car with a carbon wash for BDT. Replace everything like oil filter, air filter, brake-shoe, AC filter with genuine and recommended products. This will make your car's engine neat and super fresh. Even after doing so much, you will see that out of that 1 lakh, about 50 thousand BDT have been saved, with which you can do whatever denting-painting is needed in the car and at the end you can polish the car. When you see and drive your car after all the work is done, it will feel as if I have just bought a brand new one from the showroom. Then I will tell you what to do with the remaining 1 lakh rupees. A little while ago you read that this car has a mileage of 6-7 km / liter. That is why I would say, you can get the car LPG in the sequential injection process with the best kit and tank in the market with this 1 lakh rupees. It will also keep your engine good, and reduce oil consumption by 3 to 1 percent. In this way you will get the pleasure of owning a super-fresh condition Posh mid-size sedan.
